    Check out the nasty Airtel ad - “Papa, mummy ko datna.” Mummy scolds kid and Father scolds mummy, is this the pecking order? Disgusting. And think of all the kids watching TV!!!

    What can be done about attitudes like these?

    I have read thru your blogs on Socio econimc related issues, these very good information, please include me in next any of your such blogs.     Hey Aparna,

    I wanted to highlight an increasing trend in India, Marriage of Convenience. I am a 25 year old gay guy who recently returned to India from the US. I am well educated, straight acting and belong to a wealthy business family. I am one of the many many gay guys who is searching for a lesbian. Most of us face similar societal issues and sometimes these arrangements work out rather well for all parties involved. I am not sure what you can do about it but I just wanted to bring it in focus.
